01 · Flagship Project
A complete visual environment celebrating the tenth anniversary of Lore. Sector 7G developed the lighting and stage design, technical pre-production and a dedicated visual and lighting script for every song, then directed and executed the complete show live.

Alongside the featured case studies, our archive documents the festival systems, collaborations, music videos and hundreds of live performances through which our practice has developed.
Festival Setup
We developed a powerful touring visual system designed for the pace of festivals. It combines digital VJing, analog video, live cameras, Liquid Light and Lumia while preserving the flexibility needed to react to every artist in real time.
Additional Video Work · 2022
A music video for a cover of Atahualpa Yupanqui, built from archival footage from the 1960s and 1970s. The complete image treatment and color transformation were performed with vintage analog video equipment.
Festival relationships
Bear Stone Festival · Croatia · Since 2023
We joined Bear Stone from its first edition, developing visual systems around the festival’s sculptural stage design and natural setting. Our work includes precisely mapped stage figures, multi-projector ceiling environments and a daytime Lumia installation powered entirely by sunlight.
We designed and built stage props that would allow us to do lumia art using sunlight. We used a combination of refractive, reflective, and diffractive materials. We would give out reflective disks to the audience so they could participate in the show.
For the first edition of Bear Stone, we used four projectors on the tent’s ceiling, totaling around 17,000 lumens to complement the main stage visuals. This played really well with the patterns from the gobos.
One of the main features of the Bear Stone stage is the many figures created by the talented artists that work there. We precisely map these figures. We can then animate them, change their color individually, or even make them disappear.
Desertfest Berlin · Since 2022
Our relationship with Desertfest began with back-to-back performances across two stages and has continued through successive editions. The festival has allowed us to create live visual environments for artists including Elder, Thee Oh Sees, Pigs x7, Masters of Reality, Kadavar and Lowrider.
It was our privilege to do visuals for such a great band. When we asked what they wanted, they said “just do your thing”. And so we honored their trust with a show combining liquid light, analog video synthesis, and live cameras pointing at the stage.
For Dhidalah we were able to exercise one of our favorite styles: the “outer space” theme. We used liquid light and video feedback to create the impression of a journey through the cosmos.
For Slomosa we opted for geometric patterns made entirely from video feedback in the shape of a pyramid, since the band’s logo is a camel.
Krach am Bach · Collaboration
At Krach am Bach we develop the main-stage visuals together with Dave Guerrero, also known as dwavehead. Each edition becomes a new synthesis of both practices, combining prepared systems with the freedom of live improvisation.
Here we see Dave Guerrero doing liquid light on stage, which is the preferred way to work with analog projections. Lautaro was on the other side, to provide better coverage. The band is “Kanaan”.
Orange Goblin is a powerful band. We coordinated our visuals with the lighting technician to create an orange atmosphere. We combined liquid light, shapes, and some video footage, all in the same color palette.
We did a high-contrast, hot-cold colors, black background style which goes especially well with Krautrock music as it evokes a strange, out-of-this-planet feeling.
Concerts and Performances
Beyond festivals, we develop visuals for concerts, album releases, dance pieces and interdisciplinary performances. Our work ranges from improvised club shows to song-by-song visual scripts, with recurring appearances at Jazzexzess, BluesBumps and Dustown.
We used circles to project mapped visuals, while the remaining “negative space” was used for black and white line patterns.
